FLR M - queries

Post by Hope2021 » Sat Mar 06, 2021 3:26 pm

Hello everyone

I will be applying for my Spouse visa extension soon and have some questions

My visa expires in end june 2021 and I am planning to apply for extension in may 2021. I understand that I need to apply 30months after my arrival or is it 30months from date of issue?

Are the below documents correct?

Proof of cohabitation

1. Joint
- tenancy agreeements
- joint bank account statements

2. Mine
- bank statement
- credit card statement
- Work pension letter

my spouse
- bank statements
- phone bills
- water/utility bills

our residence
we were living in like london till oct 2019, but moved in with my in laws after an unexpected death in the family. We have tenancy agreements from our time in London, what would we need for proof of accommodation while living with my in laws?

Financial Proof
-6 months Payslips and corresponding bank statements
- employment contract from Spouse employer
- letter confirming employment from Spouse employer

English language certificate from an approved test centre

Marriage certificate

i am concerned that the proof of co-habitation will be insufficient, as we don't have joint bills, all the bills were in my husband's name and now that we are living with the inlaws, we only have our bank and credit card statements. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

1. I wouldn't worry about it too much about cohabitation evidence. Collate as much correspondence as you can and then determine which correspondence you will be utilising.

2. A letter from the the 'in laws' and other occupants confirming you and your partner have been living at the address with them will assist.

3. When you complete the online form, you will be provided with a checklist of documents.

4. Financial evidence needs to be dated within 28 days of the application. If applying under category A the documents you have stated should suffice. Letter from employer should confirm certain details relating to the employment.

5. English Language A2 from an approved test centre.
