Previous Earning- Bank Statement Query

Post by coolwp » Tue Sep 30, 2008 1:05 pm

Dear friends

I am planning to apply for Tier1. I am claiming point in prev earning on the basis of my earning in India and UK

I am planning to submit my Indian salary slips and bank statements as earning proof. The problem is, the details on the bank statement does not says Salary word Sometimes it says 'for the month of 07' sometimes it says my company name 'XXX' will it be acceptable? though they are matching with the net amount of my Indian salary slip.

Also my March salary is credited to my bank account in June. the reason is I have resigned from the company and the last amount credited to my bank account is my FFS. So I don't have salary slip for this month, instead I have taken a final letter from the company stating the amount credited to my bank account. Is it OK?
In the letter my employer has not mentioned the date FFS amount is credited and also not mentined the last day of my working. I will need this date for the conversion of my INR to GBP so what shall i do as my last day fall in mid of the month. Shall I submit my relieving letter and use that date for calculation?

I don't have the original bank statement from the bank so i have requested for duplicate bank statement. the statement are concise statements for whole of the period am claiming with all the claimed amount credited. The statement are on Bank stationary but since they have tried to fit complete ststement on 2 pages (and A4 size) alignment is not proper and some part is cut but all the description and amount part is clear. Will taht be acceptable or do i need to take a letter from the bank or something?

In prevoius earning section. I m also claiming point on the basis of UK salary. My employer provide me UK salary slips. He also give me some allowances to live (apart from salary in India) The problem is they transfer my Uk salary and allwances together in my bank account. so amount in the bank account is always more as mentioned in Gross salary slip. and the statement of the bank says 'xxx allowances' will this be acceptable as amount on the salary slip and bank satement never matches. and bank statement never says word 'salary'!

I really appreciate any help as i m very confused at this last stage of my journey to Tier 1. Please advise me so that I can arrange documents and file my application.

Iam really sorry for such a long mail but I don't have any choice as i want to calrify all my doubts

Many thanks

It actually is a very long mail ... :)

But can you get a letter from your employer which would detail the salary credits? If you could then the three put together should work:

1. Salary slips
2. Bank Statements
3. Company letter

Thanks Amit

As I have mentioned ( thats the reason for the long mail :D ) it will not be easy for me to take letter from my old employer in India.
Please advice
