Visitor visa to look after a sick relative

Hello,

My wife has been diagnosed with cancer and we would need help with household chores etc for the next 6 months.
We want our sister in law to come over to help with all this.
Shall we apply visit visa and use GP letter to support the application. Would it work?

Household work or caring for your wife is considered work which is not allowed on a standard visitor visa, so if the application is on this basis it will not be successful
