Working from India for company in UK - How does it work?

Hi,

I have been in UK for last 15 years and moving to India for good. My company that i am working as permanent employee agreed to change my employment to contracting so that i can work from India. Can anyone let me know how the taxation works in my case?

1. Do i have to pay taxes both in India and UK?
2. Is it better to have a Ltd company in UK or in India in my case. Which one is better?

Not sure if you are on ILR or are a British citizen, but if you are on ILR, it would lapse automatically after any absence from the UK of more than 2 years.
