Just to clarify, A bank statement of 3 months is sufficient to show maintenance fund of 2800 pound ? or anything else is suggested as proof ?
Also, what date currency conversion rate one should use ? I am having fund in Australian $.

For your maintenance funds, you must use the exchange rate provided by Oanda.com at the last date shown on the bank statements used to prove your funds.
That is sufficient, unless you have an online account, in which case you will need to get the printed statements stamped and signed by your bank, and obtain a letter from them confirming that you have held the requisite sum for three months at the appropriate exchange rate.oz_to_uk wrote:1. Correct. As stated above, the exchange rate is the exchange rate provided by Oanda.com on the last date covered by the bank statements provided by you to prove your maintenance funds.2. For maintenance fund requirement, what date currency conversion rate one should use ? I am having fund in Australian $. for 2nd question , I understand if you are taking 3 months period from 12 th sep 08 - 12 dec 08 , then you will take 12 dec 08 currency rate at onada.com ?
Your original answer was misleading and potentially incorrect. You stated e.g if the oct salary is credited on 31st u need to take the exchange rate on 31st., when the date a person's salary was last credited is entirely irrelevant for the purposes of determining which date's exchange rate is correct when calculating maintenance funds.vnvijay wrote:my answer is correct, last day of the claim period
