Limited company sponsorship for family

Hi. Once we have ILR/citizenship and open a ltd company.. can we employ people on it? Can we sponsor visa for employees from other countries? Can we sponsor family members as employees?

To sponsor people from abroad for a skilled worker visa you have to be a licensed sponsor and meet all the requirements to be a sponsor. You cannot sponsor family for a skilled worker visas as an employer though.

For spouse and children, the spouse visa route and English and financial requirements of the UK spouse is the only way.

Simply having a ltd company in the UK doesn't give you any special status to sponsor anyone you wish to as an employer.
