PBS dependant partner - maintenance and family consent form

Post by informationseeker » Wed Nov 03, 2021 8:43 pm

Hello there,

I recently switched to Skilled worker visa from T2 ICT and now I am wanting to switch my Spouse's visa category from T2 ICT dependent to PBS dependant (skilled worker) category. We both have been living in the UK for more than 2 years. I just wanted clarification on the below before I submit my spouse's application please -
1) Should I mark as Yes for the question Has XXXXXXXX's sponsor agreed to certify your maintenance on their certificate of sponsorship? if my CoS states Tick to certify maintenance for migrant (and dependants, if applicable): as Yes? or should I get this confirmed by my sponsor separately?
2) Since we both have been living in the UK for more than 12 months, should my spouse still submit bank statements?
3) With respect to family consent form / declaration form there are 3 sections - Part 1 which is for the applicant, I understand this should be signed by my spouse but I am not sure if Part 2 (Joint Owner) and Part 3 (person who is going to provide financial support to the applicant) are applicable for my spouse's application. Could you please help with this?

Thanks in advance
