Dear All,
I recently applied for spouse visa for my wife, i currently do not have job so have applied on basis of cash savings of £62500.
Account i used is overseas bank account as i was living and working there, question is can i move the funds to my account here in UK before the decision is made? or is it best to leave it until the outcome of application? if i did withdraw/move funds would that have negative impact on applicaion?
Thanks

IMHO to avoid any hassle get and know the outcome of your application first before moving funds around.

Thanks Amazonian,
I agree with you and that would be ideal for sure, however is there a requirement legally to keep the funds in the same account as per the rules? Thanks

That's why I stated my opinion. The requirements are to be met at the time of application. However I do know from my personal experience (changing employment and moving funds while application in process) it does go beyond that and quite an hassle to untangle thing when CW is being difficult.
