ICT visa - Travel without employer knowledge?

For a relative-

My employer issued me an ICT visa but has now pushed out my travel date because of omicron and funding issues? My husband who is going to be my dependent has found a job in the UK. Can I travel to the UK without my employers knowledge to collect my BRP and continue working for the India office?
I can manage my expenses and not inform my employer of the same. I have the sponsorship letters because i was about to travel before the plan got pushed out indefinitely. Views please?
