Documents to provide for freelance work

I've done freelance for 3 months out of 12 months I need to show my earnings for. The freelance work was for 2 clients one in UK and other in US. I provided them an invoice, with my name and they paid me by Western Union, which it turn paid me by a cheque. What all documents do I need to show for proving this earning??

u need a company invoice and letter from employer explaining the matter.

he was not an employer rather was a client. if he gives me that he paid me xxx for xxx work on his letterhead. will it work ??

yeah tahts wat i meant. Client = employer

That letter would work. I wil have to get such letter from my client as well
