ILR Application continuous 5 yrs doubt

Hi

Does anyone know if the continuous 5 yrs period for UK ILR counter gets reset if your payroll gets transferred from UK to any other country for 3months in the any 12month period?

- If not, how can you prove residence in the above mentioned 3 month period?
