UK VISIT VISA

Post by mark2019 » Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:30 am

Hello Guys and Girls, hope you’re all well!

It’s been a while since I’ve done my first visit visa, before my wife and I got married.

It’s been 7 years since my wife has seen her mum so we are inviting her over so they can finally spend some time together.

Can I please confirm the following information for the visa

The mother in law:
Biometric info
Visa application
Two photographs
Valid Passport
Paid visa fees

Me and my wife:
Proof of funds (is there a minimum income requirement?)
Bank statements last 6 months (do these need to be stamped by the bank)
Proof of accommodation (my title deeds)
Itinerary (staying with us to meet family and see daughter again for the first time in 7 years)
UK invitation letter
Signed letter from our employers

What info do we require to prove return flights? Do we just give dates, airline and flight number of the flights we are looking to use?

Anything else I’m missing?

Many thanks

You don't need to provide any proof of a return ticket but you might need to mention the intended date of travel.
I'd also add some documentation to prove your mother-in-law's ties with her home country .. it could be a document showing her husband, other kids, finances or property etc.

Ok thank you. Will see what I can do with regards to ties to her country. My wife’s brother is living with my mother in law and is staying in Venezuela.

Is this part essential if we are unable to get anything?

Also do my bank statements need to be stamped at the bank, or are my original pdf’s ok to send?
