Sponsor Licence Expired

Dear Immigration board members,

I am on a Tier2 (General) partner visa right now and yesterday my partner's employer informed us that their sponsorship license got expired on Dec 21 which means it is already been more than 60 days. Since we were not aware we both continue to work. Although the employer has taken the action now which is more than 90 days after the license expires.

My question is - Are we overstaying in this country? Do I still have the right to work in the UK as a dependent visa holder?

PS: We did not get any communication yet from the home office about our visa validity. Kind of a very annoying situation as the employer was not aware of the license expiry. Can someone please suggest all the options if we would like to continue to work in the UK?

Have UKVI got your latest contact details? If you have not received anything, assume the curtailment letter hasn't been sent yet and you can still work for now.

But ask your employer to apply for the license ASAP and use priority service, it can take more than 8 weeks if not using priority. After that you will need to apply for a new visa.
