Relevance of Education (Degree and Work)

Post by malisabri » Tue Mar 22, 2022 12:42 pm

hi,
I have Msc. Electrical Engineering, being an international student working part time at a printing company as a graphic designer. Now my employer likes my work and wants to sponsor me to continue work as a graphic designer under skilled worker visa.
My question is

1) how relevant is degree education to work should be?
as engineering and graphics design are two different thing.

2) if i do NVQ level 2 graphic design course will it make any better?

thanks

Degree relevancy is only considered for PhD degrees and when the PhD degree is used to get tradeable points. You don't need to get another degree.
