Hi, I've been looking into this for a bit now and wondering just how strict the ruling is on travel- it seemed from what I knew before that you could travel whilst waiting for a decision (the advisor I spoke to for the biometric appointment even told me unofficially that travel should be fine).
It looks like the rules have changed on that now and your application could be withdrawn if you leave the country, is that a guarantee, a high risk, or a low risk? My wife is desperate to get away even for a short time to see her family for a wedding but our waiting time could still be months yet. The government advice on the website is very vague, saying they 'advise' not travelling, but not being all that clear on what will happen if you do.
