10 year route

Post by Norv » Wed Jul 20, 2022 11:01 pm

Hi all,

My wife from Thailand has been here since 2012 our support agent has advised that we take the 10 year route.

She has one more visa application before the 10 years is up however she would like to know if she has to continue this route if she is my carer as I am disabled. My support agent says that we have to complete the 10 years term and that having a disability is of no use in the visa application. It seems rather odd that my wife has our son a UK citizen and she pays Taxes and has an IN number that we have to go so long before she can become a citizen. Any advice would be appreciated

What is her full immigration history and your and her circumstances? Include specific dates/details/forms of applications, grants of leave, etc.
