Self Employed and Funds ----Urgent help please-----

Post by jad152 » Wed Dec 03, 2008 12:01 pm

I am currently self employed and I operate a ltd company. All my payments for contract work goes through my company savings account and I do not separate my personal money from this account.

I will be sending my company savings passbook as proof of maintenance as this is the account that I use for everything. Will this be a problem?

help please!!

Well I presume you will be showing your business' performance as well. IN any case, you need to pretty much spell out every element of the application requirements for them.
There are many threads on this so use the search function

That is not good. You are trading in high seas. Believe me, this isn't good. Forget about HSMP, HMRC aren't going to like this.

I would suggest you contact your accountant ASAP and get this sorted. According to me, one should not use the company's savings account as ones personal account. So please get this sorted.

It isn't smart to use the company account as a personal account but it happens all the time. However because she has, it is highly important that she makes clear what the transactions are for and how she supports herself.

Thank you all for the reply.

I have two choices, I can either apply for the transitional psw visa and get another year added or I can apply straight for the hsmp.

I just want to choose the one that would cause the lest problem with my maintenance funds.
