Spouse visa extension help!!!

Post by Dldlr » Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:51 am

Hello 👋
Please I need some help with a few issues regarding my spouse visa extension

1. Have you lived in a country including country of birth? Do I need to include my country of birth too?
2. Details of family and friends in country of birth?
Do I need to include family that I don't speak to?
3. Accurate details of role in my child's life?
What details do I need to provide here? Like bathing my child, feeding, taking the child to playground etc
4. Type of wedding ceremony?
I got married in church and then the papers were taken to court. So will this be a church and civil ceremony or just church?
5. Any other reason for wanting to stay in the UK?
I answered no as I have already mentioned my wife and child are part of my life. Is this ok?
6. Financial requirement. We are going under category b as my wife and I have both not made 6 months in our current role. However my wife earned 32k in her previous role and earned 42.5k in her new role but her salary was increased to 45k in August. Is this the 45k I should put on the application for current salary?
Should I include mine as well eventhough my spouse salary is over the threshold?
Would it be on my detriment if I don't add my employment as they may think I don't work? I worked with a lot of agencies, lots of overtime so it is quite tricky to add up mine so is it OK for just my spouse income to be considered?

Thank you so much for reading. I keenly await your response as my visa expires on 24th and I would like to send this through as soon as possible.

Her salary alone should be fine. Over the required threshold.
