Inviting Parents to UK while my UK Tier-2 Extension is in Progress

Hi,

I came to UK on ICT Tier-2 Visa in 2019 Sep. My Visa was expiring Jul 2022, but before that my company applied for my Skilled worker visa in Jul 2022.

I am still waiting for a decision on my visa.

Can someone please let me know if I am still eligible to invite my parents?

Technically, you're eligible to. Practically, it might not work. How do you prove your immigration status in the UK?

While by virtue of having an intime application and decision pending you have maintained same rights as you had under previous leave, personally will consider it being over optimistic to go ahead and give invitation to visitors when your own immigration application is undecided.
