OP wouldn't be able to depart on British passport as it has no visa. OP needs to depart on Tunisian passport and enter Algeria with same.
Present the Tunisian passport as proof of right to enter Algeria.Ticktack wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 4:07 pmOP wouldn't be able to depart on British passport as it has no visa. OP needs to depart on Tunisian passport and enter Algeria with same.
When departing Algeria, he departs on British Passport but might be required to show Tunisian passport. So effectively show both when departing and enter the UK on British P.
very interesting..so the landing and exit stamp need not be on the same passport?
Works the same for us who are South African. Exit and enter the UK on British passports, but presenting SA passport on departure from UK and presenting UK passport in SA on departure
The important bits are if you have the right to enter the country A and if you have the right to depart to the country B from country A.n8net wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 7:08 pmvery interesting..so the landing and exit stamp need not be on the same passport?

In this case, when you land in SA, the landing stamp would be on SA passport, but when you exit you would present the British passport, so wouldn't the immigration officer question where your stamp on entry?
I guess it is legal for SA / UK..not sure if it is same for every country..it may well be and it is ok for individuals to have multiple passports from multiple countries...(I previously thought it is only reserved for ppl like Jason Bourne..- )
