Converting from Skilled Worker Dependent to Main applicant on the same CoS

Hello Friends,

My friend(main applicant) and his wife(dependent) came to UK as skilled worker route and they work for the same company in UK. Now main applicant is resigning.

Question: My friend wife is changing from skilled Dependent Visa to skilled main applicant on same CoS. But My friend need to bear the cost for the all the charges.

Any one faced similar cases. Do I need to pay IHS charge again ? since It is already paid on same CoS ? please advise.
Do I need to apply visa for dependent kid again since main applicant is changing and IHS charge as well?

Yes, it needs to be paid again with each application made.

Presumably the wife has a new CoS from the employer. She cannot use the previous CoS. It is unclear what you are actually trying to say.

Thanks for the clarification. I checked with my friend again. Yeah it is going to be new CoS. not the same one.

So I get refund of the IHS which I paid earlier for 3 years VISA for all applicants (one year completed now) ?
how long will it takes ?
