Hope you all are doing well!
I have received a UK visitor refusal because the visa officer said that I only have 122 PKR (£0.5) in my Checking account. Completely overlooking the fact that I had given another bank statement of my Savings Account which had more than £13000.
How should I address this? Should I reapply? Should I contact a lawyer? What is the fastest and cheapest way of getting this fixed keeping in mind I live in Pakistan.
Please see refusal below:
A few errors made by you. When applying for any visa, not just the UK. You need to realise that by default you might be rejected. It's your job to make it hard for them to refuse you.
Why have you stated that your Aunt would help with accommodation and some funds for maintenance. First red flag!
Accommodation and general upkeep should be end off.
Money wise, why move your money around so much? You're confusing everyone. They don't have the time of day to keep up with the money trail (forensic accounting). Leave your money in the account you use for your wages. Other monies can go into your savings. After your visa application, you can move your money to Malaysia if you wanted, no one cares.
It's a bit like having a driving test. You do somethings to pass the test, after that you can drive as you please.
You Spend £260 monthly X 12 = £3,120
Monthly wages £932.22 X 12 = 11,186.64
You get extra £1,471 annually from investments
UK trip would cost you £1,600 for a 8 days trip
So you have £12,657.64 Annual income minus £3,120 (Annual expenses)
= £9537.64
Spending £1,600 on a 8 days trip is almost 2 months wages.
You probably overdid the form by also stating £XX for plane trip and £1,600 for what it would cost me personally. So easily the CW is thinking almost £3k for 8 days, that's a third of your annual.
You can obviously afford it, but you've not convinced him beyond reasonable doubt.
