Hi
I was refused the HSMP status for the united kingdom on the basis of no having complete points for income earned. before that I was completing a master in the united kingdom
As my application was in process I was also working on a research proposal to apply for PhD. I have found relevant supervisors in a couple of New Zealand universities who have encourage me to apply.
my query is: As I was rejected once for the HSMP in the united kingdom, will that effect my student visa application? is there a high probability of getting a decline decision and should I mention about the HSMP refusal in my application? I believe that I should because I should not be hiding anything as I am a genuine student and would like to make a career as an academic.
I would appreciate all the opinions.
Thanks
