Countries On the Red list for healthcare visa

Please I actually had issue with my first cos and I'm currently working on the reissue with the employer before the red list alert came up... I would like to know if Nigeria as my country being on the red list will affect my COS reissue and visa application.
Kindly help with clear explanation

Did you join the job through an agency? If not, you have nothing to fear as the code of practice specifically targets agencies that hire staff from countries on the red and orange lists.

Even if you did, the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England does not seem to impact the staff hired, but the agency that they went through. See the Illustrative examples in the guidance.
