Work for Indian company while living in uk on ILR

Hi,

I had a circumstance due to which I was planning to go to India for an year. (I got my ILR 6 months back)
I had interviewed for a company in India and they are happy to offer me a role.

Now, my circumstances have chnaged and I no longer need to go to India.
However, as the offer is quite attractive. I'm thinking if I can work for the Indian company while I live in the UK on ILR.

Is this possible and would it have any repercussions on my eligibility for naturalisation, due in December this year.

Please do help me with you kind feedback.

You are free to work for any company, domestic or foreign. Should have no impact on naturalisation as employment not a pre-requisitr. On ILR you are essentially free from immigration restrictions.

In terms of tax liability. Would I be paying taxes in India or UK.

I have rights to work in India(citizen) and uk(ILR) both.

Anyone receiving income from abroad maybe be liable to be taxed. Not familiar with Indian tax rules, however if there’s a double taxation treaty between the UK and India tax deduction in India might be off setable against UK liabilities.
