No Caller ID

Post by MrsDuck » Thu Jul 27, 2023 8:25 pm

Hello everyone,

A bit random but I just wonder if anyone could advise me.

I’ve had a few missed calls recently (3 times) coming up as No Called ID, however I was at work and didn’t pick it in time. Today I picked up, heard some Hello and due to poor signal it hung up on my side. It suddenly crossed my mind that it could be from the Home Office??? Will it affect my application if they can’t get in touch with me? Will they not email me instead?

I’m suddenly worried sick 😭 My application is straightforward so I didn’t think I would be expecting anything. thanks everyone x

Highly unlikely it is ukvi. They don't call you regarding citizenship applications, the communicate in writing.

Hi thank you 😭 Was it from a no caller ID as well? After I missed them calls I never receive anything else again. It’s tough with work as having no signal. Still waiting to hear for my application and I know it can take 6 months but worried as its really straightforward.

The process is mostly slow and can be long. You keep trying to give some peace to self on it even as yous said is straightforward (though you can not decide if it is, HO has the criteria) so try worry less as it runs its course.
