financial requirement ILR spouse locum work

Post by juju333 » Mon Nov 13, 2023 9:32 pm

Please can anyone help.

I am just about to apply for my ILR under the spouse visa category. I am a doctor and I have just completed my training end of September- so full time work ended end of september and I took a month off and now been doing the odd locums.

I do my locum work via a limited company and I wont receive any payment until the end of November as evidence.

With my training post i had earned more than the amount required to fulfil the financial requirement. Can I use the payslip from my previous role as evidence for my financial requirement and what category will I select if I am able to do this?

Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

It is not about just meeting the total income earned over the last year. It is about your current sources of income too. If you are not employed then category A or B is out of the question. Directors of companies must apply under category F or G and send various documents to satisfy the rules.

I strongly suggest reading the official guide and the relevant categories: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... rement.pdf
