Queries while filling up Tier 1 application form.

Post by Parry08 » Fri Jan 09, 2009 12:33 pm

Hi,

I am submitting Tier 1 General application form. I have some queries

1: There are lot of section which are not relevant to you. Are we expected to keep them blank or need to mention N/A (Not Applicable)
2: Duration of Study: I have done MBA from India. The application require us to provide the exact dates for the study. I have done my MBA 9-10 years back I do not remember the exact dates. I am planning to mention 16 June 1997- 30 March 1999 (I have mark sheet dated 19 April 1999)? As my Post Graduation is showing less than 2 years, is it going to create any problems?

3: D3: Entry Clearance/ Visa Issued Date. I was issued Work Permit in 2004. On my passport the date of visa stamping is not provided so which date I shall mentioned?

Thanks,
Parry

Hi Parry08,

I will keep it blank.
The start date would certainly be the date you started attending your college/Uni. I am not sure about the end date, whether that's the date of last exam or the date you were awarded relevant degree?

Would appreciate help from other members.
3: D3: Entry Clearance/ Visa Issued Date. I was issued Work Permit in 2004. On my passport the date of visa stamping is not provided so which date I shall mentioned?
I am not sure, if they would issue any visa without a start date.
If you have a end date on the visa, and if you know your permissible stay (e.g. 5 year for WP etc.), you can work out the start date and put that on the form.

Cheers,
