6 month visit visa uk

Hi guys I’m hoping someone could help me please. I cannot find any topic regarding this. I have just successfully applied for 6 month visit visa for the UK for a family member. Applied 1st December, received email to collect passport 14th December with a 6 month visa stamp. The visit visa is valid for 6 months, can someone tell me if they have a certain amount of time they have to enter the UK? I know spouse visas have changed from 28 days to 3 months to when they must enter the UK, is there any rule for visit visa on how long from when they get the 6 month visa to when they must enter the uk?

No requirement. The settlement visa entry rules have different criteria.
