Visit visa for mum- source of funds

Post by AyeshD » Mon Feb 19, 2024 4:11 am

Hi,

My parents visited the UK in 2022, and this time, I am applying for my mom only; my dad will stay in India. Both are retired and financially supported by my sister and her husband living abroad. Last time, I submitted their payslip and bank statement to show the source of funds. However, this time is a bit complicated.

Due to their daughter's wedding last year, they stopped transferring funds from their foreign account. Instead, they've been using multiple bank accounts in India.

Should I provide bank statements from all the accounts ? As they use different means of transfer to deposit in their Indian accounts so its dificult to explain source. I can try explaining in cover letter.

Also do I need to provide 6 months bank statement for my mom?

Thank you,
Aysha.

It's a visa renewal. It always has less scrutiny. Not saying you can afford to fumble it up either. Provided what you can to the best of your ability and yes 6 months statements is always a requirement.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
