Husband's Visa Application

Post by aniya111 » Tue Jan 27, 2009 7:38 pm

Hello.. I'm new to this forum! As we all come here for our own interest, I have mine too! I got married in my country and now want to bring my hubby over here!! I collected so far all the documents listed in the guideline except the employment letter!! I asked my manager for the letter, and I was told that the letter will be issued from the head office, and it will take time! I spoke to some of my colleagues and they said it takes 3/4 months to arrive from head office! Now I don't want to wait another 3/4 months! and I still aint got the letter!

My question is how important the employment letter is? I have my payslips and bank statements as proof of my employment! I work for a famous company in the UK! So if I don't submit the letter will it affect the visa application?
please someone help me out.. :(

Do you have your Appointment letter with you? Does it show that you are a permanent employee? Employer letter works in the sense as it provides the recent situation of your job.?

You can insist your local branch that to give you a letter immideately which shows your permanent job status and your salary. You can tell tehm that i really need to apply for my husband's visa
