Questions regarding Switching from PSW to Skilled worker Visa

Post by yashjadwani » Tue Oct 01, 2024 12:23 pm

Hi All,

I am switching from PSW to Skilled worker Visa under New Entrant Rule. I have couple of questions regarding my application which I have submitted couple of weeks ago.

1) While generating CoS we needed to select the Route and My employer selected the Skilled Worker (graduate in Tier 4/student Route Switching to Skilled worker). Do you think my employer selected the right route? If not, what can issues can arise.

2) In CoS, My employer kept 40 working hours per week instead of 37.5. Due to which UKVI has raised a query while processing the visa, the rate per hour is less that what is needed for job code 3544 and asked for clarification. Can we say that it was mistake and I work 37.5 hours only and .5 hours of break everyday which makes rate per hour above the needed for a new entrant rule.

If anyone has suggestion on what can we say on the queries I have/raised by UKVI that will be very helpful.

Thanks,
YJ
