ILR Set (O) - Payslips and Letters of absence

Post by Pran1997 » Mon May 06, 2024 12:29 pm

Hello lovely folk,

I’ve got a couple queries on ILR application pertaining to payslips and absences that I would appreciate guidance on.

I am eligible to apply for ILR from early July this year.
I left my previous employer in March and start work with a new employer end of June.
So I don’t have any payslips between April and June.

So, my first question is how many months of payslips are required to apply for the ILR?
And if it’s more than 1 month, is it an issue that I will be missing payslips in the interim period?

My second question is whether I will require letters from previous employers on my work authorised absences?
I ask because I have taken holidays outside the UK with previous employers.

Please let me know!

Thanks

Only the last payslip from your current employer is required.

Thanks for confirming Zimba!

Could I also check that I will not require letters from previous employers on work absences?

You do not need that. You only need one sentence in your employment letter for your work absence

ILR queries

Post by Pran1997 » Sat Sep 28, 2024 8:48 am

Hello all,

I am now eligible to apply for my ILR via 5-year Tier 2/ Skilled worker route.

I had a few queries before applying that I would like some guidance on please.

1. Do I need to scan and submit all the pages of my passport or are just the first and last pages sufficient?

2. I have been with three different employers during my 5-years on a Tier 2/Skilled worker visa.
Would I need to submit all my BRPs?
Would I also require an employer letter from each employer and a confirmation of all absences taken while working for them?

3. As I have worked for three different employers, would I need to submit a cover letter detailing my start and end dates with each as well as the start and end dates of the visas issued?

4. I currently live in a rented accommodation where the rent is inclusive of all bills.
Would my tenancy agreement suffice as proof of residence? Or would I require a letter from my landlord as well?

5. Do I need to submit proof of address for all the accommodations I have lived in across this 5-year period?
If yes, all of the accommodations had rent inclusive of bills, so as above, would I require letters from each landlord?

Please let me know!
Thanks in advance for your support 😊

Topics Merged!!
1. Do I need to scan and submit all the pages of my passport or are just the first and last pages sufficient?
Bio page and all stamped pages!
2. I have been with three different employers during my 5-years on a Tier 2/Skilled worker visa.
Would I need to submit all my BRPs?
Most recent only. Obviously UKVI have your FULL immigration history, you don't have to tell them!
Would I also require an employer letter from each employer and a confirmation of all absences taken while working for them?
You asked this question in May and were already given the answer. Asking again doesn't change the answer you were already given.
3. As I have worked for three different employers, would I need to submit a cover letter detailing my start and end dates with each as well as the start and end dates of the visas issued?
No!!
4. I currently live in a rented accommodation where the rent is inclusive of all bills.
Would my tenancy agreement suffice as proof of residence? Or would I require a letter from my landlord as well?

There is NO requirement to provide proof of address (different to proof of residence) unless you are applying with your spouse for ILR.
5. Do I need to submit proof of address for all the accommodations I have lived in across this 5-year period?
If yes, all of the accommodations had rent inclusive of bills, so as above, would I require letters from each landlord?
No!

Absences from UK

Post by Pran1997 » Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:35 am

Hi,

I am in the process of applying for my ILR through the Tier 2/Skilled worker Route and had a question around absences.

In the absences section, the details required are the date of exit from UK, date of return to the UK and the destination.

I had once travelled to Germany, transitting through Spain (one of the cheaper flight options).
Although I was there in Spain for only a few hours, I have a passport stamp for it as it is my first point of entry into Europe for this trip.

I have already declared my holiday to Germany in the absences section.
As the form only cares about date of exit from and date of return to the UK, should I declare I visited Spain as well for all of those days?

And if I don’t include Spain, will it cause issues as I’m submitting a copy of my passport with all the pages scanned in?

Please let me know.
Thanks!

The details of your travels are not relevant. It is all about absences from the UK

Urgent: Priority processing option unavailable

Post by Pran1997 » Fri Oct 04, 2024 1:14 pm

Hi,

I am applying for a Set(O) ILR through skilled worker route.
I completed my application form and was going to pay but only normal processing option is available (I.e., no priority or super priority).

My concern is that my current skilled worker visa expires in early January 2025 and if I go for normal processing and don’t receive my ILR before expiry of my current leave to remain, I will have a period where I’m not covered by a visa or an ILR.

Please can someone advise if this is only a technical issue with the website (I.e., will trying again another time work)?
And if not (I.e., I opt for normal processing), would this impact my ability to live and work in the UK?

Please let me know.
Thank you!

Priority service is not always available due to capacity: Online Application - Why there is no Super Priority Service Option ?

Also, you will NOT be left without a visa or protection after visa expiry if you apply using standard service as you will be covered under section 3C. Learn what section 3C means: Applicants can benefit from the date of the ILR decision
