Marrying in U.S. and being allowed to live with wife in U.K.

Post by just » Tue Feb 03, 2009 9:42 pm

Hey everyone, I hope that someone can help me with this. I have been speaking with a British woman everyday now for 2 yrs. 2 months. We love each other dearly, I tried to go there back in 2007 and got deported because I didn’t have all the right paperwork=visa. They said that I could just get a visa and come back, but I have been scared of being deported again, I went thru hell when that happened last time.

My question is, if my girlfriend comes to the U.S. can we get married here and then will that allow me permanent residence with her in the U.K.? What do I need to do, because she is willing to come here and marry me if that will work?

Someone please help us with this, it’s killing us that we can’t be together. She did visit me last year for 2 weeks, so we’ve physically spent time and know each other, not just thru phone and internet, please help us…
