Hello moderators and friends
My partner invited his cousin of which the visa was refused 4 days ago
Reasons:
1. You don't have a property or asset to show you have ties with your home country.
2. You have opening balance on your account and you have failed to let us know the source, despite being employed.
3. Your bank account has unknown transactions that you did not declare the source.
Meanwhile.:
1. She does not have property, that's correct. However, she has a 3 years old daughter and a full-time job. Employment letters, payslips, and the child's birth certificate were all submitted and emphasis was laid that she lives with the daughter and family members.
2. Assess bank of Africa uses opening balance for statement instead of money brought forward. She printed straight 6 months statement. Maybe printing each month would have made them understand it is the bank mode of description.
3. The unknown transaction was a monthly income from her partner for child care support. This was mentioned in the further information part of the application forms. But the ECO failed to read that part of the application forms. And it reflect on the bank DD statement as child support.
My question is:
Is it too early to reapply in 2 weeks time and address the refusal letter, as her annual leave commence in the middle of March and use the same documents only add January bank statement and payslip to the previous. Now, she will print a statement for each month for it to show opening balance each month. Also, she just bought a landed property; would it be advisable to include this as it is too sudden.
OR
Apply for pre-action protocol and address the ECO oversight. Just that my partner said PAP is time consuming that it may take 6 -12 months.
Please we need your support and we are thankful for your time.
