MN1 application from abroad

Last year I applied for my eldest daughter and at the time applications from abroad needed to send original documents by post. Im now applying for my youngest daughter (not paid yet) and the form says I will be able to upoad digital copies. Can anyone who has applied from abroad confirm if this is true and does that include passports?

MN1 applications from abroad require all originals to be sent, that I know of. Unsure if there has been a recent change in the process.
