Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice regarding my situation.

I became a British citizen through my previous marriage, but the relationship had broken down shortly after I actually received my citizenship. We were no longer living as a couple, and the legal divorce happened shortly afterwards. the marriage simply failed for personal reasons, and we went our separate ways.

Now I’m remarried and applying for a spouse visa for my wife, and I just want to know whether the timing of my divorce (shortly after becoming a citizen) could cause any problems or raise issues with the Home Office.

Timeline:
Citizenship October 2024 > Divorce finalised July 2025 > Remarried September 2025

Thanks a lot
