Spouse visa extension

Post by drama2026 » Thu Jul 30, 2026 9:03 am

I applied for my spouse visa extension on 22 May, and I attended my biometric appointment on 23 May. I have still not heard anything from the Home Office.
Is this normal?
My husband is a British citizen, and I did not apply using a fee waiver. This is my first spouse visa extension.

Could you please share your recent spouse visa extension timeline? I applied from inside the UK. Thank you

There is an existing timeline thread, we don't need another topic with this detail.

Processing can take up to 6 months, more often it is 8 to 12 weeks.
