Skilled Worder Visa Changing SoC Code - Urgent Please reply

Hi all,
One of my friend held the following sponsorship visa:
Tier and Category: Skilled Worker (graduate in Tier 4/Student Route switching to Skilled Worker)
First CoS was issued on 19/10/2023
Job Start Date: 31/10/2023 and finish on 30/10/2024
Salary: £13.00 per hour, 40 Hours per week work
Job title: Database Administrator Job type: 3131 IT Operations technicians

He as latter extended his visa as per following CoS Details:
Skilled Worker (Extensions - ISC exempt)
Job Start Date: 14/11/2024 and finish on 01/11/2029
Job title: Database Administrator Job type: 3133 Database administrators and web content technicians
Salary: £14.00 per hour, 40 Hours per week work
The employer’s licence was cancelled on 01/06/2026 and he received a letter from home office to either leave the country by 25/08/2026 or get a new job.

He has found a company that is willing to sponsor her. But they are not sure as he can be sponsored under a new SoC code as hotel manager. The hotel manager SoC has been removed from skilled worker in July 2025 new rules. Can he still be sponsored? Someone told him that he cannot be sponsored as hotel manager is no longer in the Skilled Worker list.

Please reply as he is very depressed.
