HSMP Extension using TIER 1

Post by ntsrikanth » Wed Mar 04, 2009 9:50 pm

Hi
My HSMP visa expires in May and am planning to apply for my extension under Tier 1.

I got some doubt while filling the Tier 1 (G) version 11/08 application form.
In Section D. Immigration History,
I couldn't understand the following question.
D5. Are either the applicant’s current and/or any one of his/her previous passport(s) or travel document(s) that he/she has used to travel to, and remain in, the United Kingdom which shows his/her current leave unavailable?

Do I need to answer YES or NO ?

I got one old passport, but got the visa clearance in my current passport.

Thanks,
Srikanth

This was one of the most poorly worded questions on the application form, but if you have the passport in question, then you need to answer "no."
