Help Neede. please... Urgent

I have changed my job on december 2008 and i want to show earnings of previous company and present company. As I have bank statements of my previous company's earning, I don't have pay slips. Can I make new pay slips??? I mean if I ll talk to company , they will give me the payslips but the date mentioned will be of now. Will the UK embassy say that dates are not of the period when you were working there??? What are the other alternatives???
And also ::
Does UK embassy see(as a earning) GROSS salary or IN HAND salary as previous earnings????

I don't think date of issues/print of payslip will be any issue as far as it show salary of correct month . As different company runs payroll on different date and accordingly print date varies. Also
My accountant run payroll on 6th of the every month whereas i receive salary in end of the month. I submitted the same salary and my extension is approved. This is not a problem at all.

Have seen some rejections in the past on the basis that the pay slips were bulk-printed (actually depends on the case-worker). If our previous employer is so cooperative why not get a letter from him (containing all the information required under the Tier-1 Guidance)?
