How long i can delay my first trip to UK

I have tier 1 General visa which was issued to me in the Month of Feb'09. So i want to confirm how long i can delay my first trip to UK. As i heard that it must be with in three month, is it true. what problems i will face if i make my trip after three month. any body here who visited there first visit after three month what type of questions he faced at Airport.

I dont think you will have any problem at the point of entry if you travel late. But you would need to comply with the ILR rules which allows you to stay out of country for 3 months at a stretch or 6 months max in 5 years time. In this case you might have to go for second extn to fulfil the qualifying period for ILR.
