taking wife to UK...

taking wife to UK...

Hi,

I am going to apply for Tier 1 general and I will be there in UK in November 2009. My question is:

After how much time I can take my wife as dependent???
I mean how soon.....

If you put your wife as dependent in the initial application (subject to approval) you can take her with you straight away..

but make sure you comply with the maintenance funds criteria for the dependent visa...

Thanx nksg for replying. I dont meet funds criteria for my dependent. Moreover I am getting married on Sep end ( after having Tier 1 General approved). In this situation how soon can I take her ??????

You can apply for her Visa as soon as you have got maintenance funds, marriage certificate..etc.. i dont think there is any timelimit...

When I will reach UK I will again make sufficient funds and that will take another three months and then I can apply and she can come. Is it true????
