HSMP FLR(IED) - Supporting Documents

Post by loni » Thu Jun 02, 2005 2:25 pm

I recently posted about the successfuly appeal for my HSMP application and now have to apply for FLR (IED)for myself and my partner as a dependent. I am hoping someone can help with the following queries around the documentation I will be supplying:

1. Wage slips
I have been advised to supply 3 months worth of wage slips. I work through a limited company so my wage slips will show the majority as being dividends and the rest as income (which has been taxed, although at a minimal rate). These are also on plain white paper (i.e. no fancy letterheads) I plan to also provide bank statements showing these funds being deposited to my account. Could there potentially be any issues with the fact that I am working through a limited company and earning the minimum wage? Would it be useful to also provide this kind of information for my fiance?

2. Proof of relationship

My fiance and I have only been living together since we arrived in the UK 1.5 years ago. I can provide utility bills, tenancy agreements etc for this period. Prior to this we werent living together but we have a mortagage on a property in Australia with my brother so I can provide joint mortgage statements, joint bank accounts and joint bills for this place, but all with three names on it. Will this be sufficient?

With all the work I've done to get my HSMP application approved, I want to make sure that I provide all the right documentation to get my FLR(IED) approved. Would it be useful to go to an agency like Work Permits UK or apply through a solicitor to ensure that this all goes smoothly?

thanks in advance.
