hello!
i'm eligible for an ilr but am currently awaiting our son's passport (indian).
because the indian govt does not endorse the child's name on the parent's passport, and based on the advise of many people (both here, on this forum and outside), we decided to get his passport done so that we all can apply for ilr and then register our son as a british citizen (being born here).
my question is - when we get our son's passport, don't we also need a visa (dependent?) before we can apply for an ilr?
please advise...
