Visa to visit family in UK Refused

I am British and married to an Albanian who has a residence visa and will apply for ILR in August. My husband's brother (who is 17) recently applied for a visa to visit us for 2 weeks this summer but was refused on the grounds that he was unlikely to return to Albania. We supplied evidence that my brother-in-law was at school learning to be a mechanic and that this course would continue next year. We also supplied bank statements to show he had sufficient funds to support himself and to show that I have the funds to support him if necessary. These statements showed that he had some money in an account in Albania and also that I have a good income with no major outgoings etc. The ECO concluded from my statements that I live “wage to wageâ€

If this is the only reason they refused him and you can show that you have good savings in your savings account, just reapply again and this time make sure you show your savings.

Dont bother appealing, to long and complicated. Dont bother paying solicitors to do anything, because you are wasting money. Just reapply again, its easy and cheapest way and more likely to succeed
