UK naturalisation - Child

Post by gpurusho » Mon Aug 31, 2009 4:37 pm

Hi,

I am ILR holder & will be eligible to apply for UK naturalisation in November 2009. My daughter (4 years old) was born in India & she came to UK for the first time in June 2005 (my wife went to India for delivery).

Can I apply for naturalisation for my daughter, along with me? Or she has wait till Jun 2010 (5 year rule) before she becomes eligible?

Thanks.[/b]

Daughter, preferably also holding ILR, may apply at the same time as you (Chapter 9: Registration of minors at discretion).
