Tier1 Dependant Visa - Marriage Certificate Authentication

Hi,

I'm going to apply for Tier1 Dependant Visa from India. I got married last week and I have just received the Marriage Certificate. But the following line is mentioned under the certificate in very small font.

"If the document is needed for use in foreign countries or for acceptance by foreign mission situated in india, authentication of the document by the designated authority viz the ministry of external affair gov of india is necessary"

Does it meen that the marriage certificate is not valid for Visa application?
If it is not valid, what needs to be done?
