Maintainance Funds for Dependent in India

Hi All,

I have a question regarding funds maintainance for HSMP Tier1 dependent visa, while applying with in india.

Currently I am maintaining amount arround INR 3lackhs (equailant to more than GBP 2800) in my salary savings account from past 3months
and I am planning to apply HSMP Tier 1 for my self (but not my dependents currently).

Also I am planning to mention the journey date as December 2009.

Once I got visa ,I will apply for my wife's visa before traveling to UK.

so my question is:

After getting my visa ,can I show the same amount of 'INR 3lackhs (equailant to more than GBP 2800)' to apply visa for my spouse?

Or do I need to show the money equialant to (2800+1600 GBP) ?
