my visa to uk rejected, type family visit. i had to visit my brother in uk.they were satisfied with the document of my brother including sponsorship form. the reason for rejection were. since i am a student. they said you haven't given any document from your college, that you are indeed a student of the college.( though i provided identity card of college), and also that my personal , financial circumstances document. were missing. i want to appeal. what more document i should attach with my appeal form.please specify, what type of letter i should get from my college, any other specefic document required. my parent are already on a family visit visa to uk. there visa was approved within three day. i had attached same document including identity card of my college.and also to whom i should send this appeal form, can i send it by post to chankya puri , delhi(visa office) or will i have to give it in person, i am not from delhi.

A letter from your college saying that you're a student studying whatever etc. Student ID cards are easily forged over here so i'm guessing that's why the embassy rejected it. For financial documents, provide your bank statement.

I would not bother appealing on a family vist application. It takes to long.

Ask your family to make a fresh application. You will need to send docs agian,but make sure they are the right ones. Eg letter from college, saying what you are studying and how long for.

Send bank statements, accomodation letter, sponsorship declaration etc with them.

Appeal can take anything up to 6-8 months, if you are prepared to wait that long, then appeal. Your chances of the decision being overtuned on a review are very slim, thats why its best to apply again.
